Cookies Policy

1. What cookies are

A “cookie” is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies can be persistent (kept across sessions until they expire or are deleted) or session-only (deleted when you close your browser). We also use related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which behave similarly to cookies but live entirely in your browser.

2. Cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required to make the Service work and cannot be disabled.

• Supabase auth session — keeps you logged in across pages; set by our authentication provider.
• CSRF / security tokens — protect against cross-site request forgery on form submissions.

2.2 Preferences (functional)

These remember choices you make to give you a better experience.

• Language preference (EN / ES) — remembered in localStorage.
• Theme preference (light / dark / system) — managed by next-themes.
• Setup Guide widget state — whether the floating onboarding widget is expanded, collapsed or closed.
• UI layout preferences — for example, which accordion sections you have open.

2.3 Analytics & performance

We currently do not deploy third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) in the authenticated application. We may add privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics in the future; if we do, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required.

3. Third-party cookies

When you use certain Service features, third parties may set their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies. The list today is short:

• Stripe — when paid billing is enabled, Stripe sets cookies during checkout for fraud prevention and session continuity. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

We do not allow third-party advertising or tracking cookies inside the authenticated application.

4. Managing cookies

You have several ways to control cookies:

• Browser settings — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly-necessary cookies, the Service may not work properly (for example, you may not stay logged in).
• In-product preferences — language, theme and Setup Guide state can be changed from the header / Settings page.
• localStorage / sessionStorage — you can clear them from your browser’s developer tools or by signing out and clearing site data.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookies Policy when we add or remove cookies. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision.
